Carryover Jobs

If you collect a vehicle for delivery the following day the job should split into two.

For example, if this is your work:

Monday

• Collect Glasgow

Tuesday

• Drop Southampton

This should be entered as two jobs as follows:

Monday – Job 1

• Collect Glasgow
• Drop Home

Tuesday – Job 2

• Collect Home
• Drop Southampton

The system doesn’t know where the car is being kept overnight so it will work out the best route from Glasgow to Southampton. However you might live in Leeds so you wouldn’t take the obvious M74/M6 route. This might give false matches.

The system also calculates waypoints along your route to make matches with passengers you could help. It does this by using your average speed calculated from the length of route and the time between collection and delivery. Stopping overnight for a few hours will result in a much lower average speed and possibly false matches.
