Q. Can anyone see my jobs?
A. All jobs are kept private. Only you can see your jobs.
Q. How quickly will I get a lift?
A. This depends on when the system finds a driver who can help you. The system checks for lifts every few minutes, 24/7. As new jobs are added new matches are found. Drivers are notified immediately when a match is found.
Q. Is there an app?
A. The web site is fully responsive and will adapt it’s size and layout according to the type of device you are using so there is no need for an app.
Q. How do I ask for a lift?
A. You cannot ask or request a lift. By uploading you jobs the system will work out the lifts you need and automatically search for those lifts.
Q. Why am I not getting any lift offers?
A. There are several reasons.
i. Have you uploaded your jobs? If not then the system doesn’t know where you need to travel between.
ii. There are simply no drivers in your area.
iii. Drivers have rejected a lift offer because they are under time or other constraints.
iv. Check you have entered your correct mobile phone number under Your Details.
Q. How much is Flickassist membership?
A. Flickassist is free whilst we roll out the system. In Spring 2021 we will introduce a small monthly subscription fee. This will be the equivalent of a medium length train journey or several small bus fares. It could be thought of as small insurance fee against large public transport fares.
Q. How do I know SMS messages are from Flickassist?
A. All messages are sent via our messaging partner Clickatell. They have allocated us the number 07537416555. Please add this number to your phone’s Contacts using the name Flickassist. This will ensure all SMS messages appear as from Flickassist.
